Today is a very special day in Thailand. Because it's the first (official) day of Songkran, also known as 'Thai New Year'. In this year, this holiday is longer than the most since it starts on Monday. This means people gets to rest for five days straight. Nice. To be honest. I'm glad there's a holiday like this. Because, as you might know, summer in Thailand is nothing to be taken lightly. In April, on most days, the temperature could reach beyond 40 Celsius (140 Fahrenheit). And in May, depending on climate, it could either go a little lower (since it starts to transit from summer to monsoon) or go above. So, take care of your health too.

It's not even a month in. And everything is still burning. Hmm. Quite on brand with this doom and gloom vibe. And sometimes. It can be tiresome. Tired of acknowledging reality is taking a straight dive into the dumpster. Tired of acknowledging all problems will eventually blow up into thousand pieces of bigger problems. Tired of interfacing with ithem even further. Don't you want to escape from it all? Maybe for a moment. Maybe for a while. Maybe ... forever?

2026 is upon us, just half a month away. And it will be the beginning of half-decade in this decade. And so far, it has been nothing but a disaster domino. A plague? Check. Economic recession? Check. Low trust society? Very much check. Nepotism? Better get your pops to tick it. Rich gets richer? The tale as old as a stone itself. There's almost nothing left to look forward to beside reenactments of Idiocracy and 1984. ... Okay. I might exaggerated the details there.

Lately (or in this current era). I want to ask you personally. Do you feel like everything is getting _worse?_ It's not a spontaneous bias. And you aren't crazy for thinking so. Everything is literally heading towards to the south. Ranging from social media to clothes you are wearing. Their qualities are in decline while you have to squeeze out your wallet harder. And it seems this strange phenomenon is creeping into other aspect of your life without you knowing it. Yes. You are being taken advantage of. And again. Yes. You can say reality is heading to a dark path where everything stenches like ... shit.

It's late October. One more week until Halloween. And two more months until 2026. In here. It started to get somewhat "cold". And by that "cold", I meant temperature doesn't exceed thirty degrees Celsius and shoot all the way up to thirty four-ish when it's noon. I'm not sure whether meteorologists will confirm it would get colder or not. But I'm ready for a nice cozy breeze with cloudy atmosphere days. Although for now. It's still hot in here, along with my to-do list and its loooooooooong entries. Nevertheless. I have grown enough spinal columns (or more than what a human should have) to make plans then put some progressions into them. And by that "some progressions", I meant putting them aside in order to put more important tedious tasks on hands first. And for worse. There might be more in the backlogs.

If I have a dollar for every time I'm back to square one, I would have three. It's not a lot but it can feel hopeless if you are trying to achieve the novelty. Unless you are playing a game of Monopoly then I hope you don't go broke from those stupid hotel tiles.
